We opened in June 2008, Outfields Stables are surrounded by farmland totally away from it all yet only 5 miles from the centre of Bedford in the village of Ravensden. London is only 35 minutes away on the train and Cambridge, Milton Keynes and Northampton are within a 40 minute drive.

The stables are accessed down a ¾ mile long driveway through fields, up and down hills and over a bridged babbling stream. The views from the stables are simply stunning as we are completely surrounded by arable farmland.

Furnished to the highest standards, incorporating everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible and an experience to remember. Attention has been paid to every detail. With vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, theatrical spotlighting, exposed brick walls, a luxurious wet room and contemporary highly equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer the stables have it all. A large widescreen TV and DVD player, music system with MP3 port and free wireless internet access will ensure that you are kept entertained.

If you are staying on business, looking for a weekend break, a base for a holiday or visiting friends or family we can offer a package to suit your requirements. All we ask is that you a stay a minimum of two nights. If you are relocating into the area and are looking for somewhere to stay for several months, again subject to availibility we're more than happy to accommodate you.

To make your stay easier we offer a complete food/grocery shopping service. You can order food/groceries for your arrival or indeed at any time during your stay. Your initial order can be made up to the day before your arrival. While staying we'll sort out suitable arrangements with you. We will endeavour to obtain your shopping at competitive prices and will provide a receipt for the goods.

The stables, car park, and courtyard are fully floodlit. So no matter what time you arrive or come and go during your stay all of the guest areas will be well lit for your convenience and security.

Within a ten minute walk is the Glenn Miller Museum which is well worth a visit. Dogs are welcome and the area is also great for cycling.
