Outfields Farm ::: Campsite in Bedford

Our 4.5 acre paddock is open as a campsite from April until September each year. The setting is stunning as we are ¾ of a mile from the nearest road and the paddock is surrounded by open fields. Completely hidden away this has to be the perfect rural retreat with total silence and tranquillity. The paddock is fenced and gated making it totally secure for those with small children. We are surrounded by numerous public bridleways making this a great base for anyone who enjoys walking or cycling.

Camping

We limit the number of pitches available to a maximum of 100 to ensure that each pitch is a very generous size and no one will have the feeling of being crammed in!

For the last two weekends of August our campsite is open for Twinwoods Festival goers. During those two weekends we offer more facilities. Please click on the relevant tab below for information on facilities and prices.

Non Festival Camping

We are open from April to September and offer a very peaceful place to stay.

We have water, toilets, electric hook ups, disposal point for liquid/chemical waste. We will collect your refuse on a regular basis.

We will open a farm shop daily but please let us know if you have any specific requirments.

Showers and Toilets for hire!

We are purchasing a limited number of solar camping showers, shower tents and chemical camping toilets.

The showers will heat 20 litres of water in approximately 3 hours of daylight.The shower tent comes with shower hanging point, towel rail,hanging corner shelf and engaged/vacant sign. The toilets are portable camping toilets and will come complete with chemicals. It will be your responsibility to empty them and return them clean.

For £7 per day you can hire the shower and tent. We will assemble it for you on your pitch when you arrive. For £10 per day you can hire the shower, tent and toilet. These will be for your own personal use. If you would like to book one please say so when we call you for your payment. The numbers will be very limited so do please book early. These must be booked for a minimum of 3 days.

The Costs

We charge £10 for the first night and £7.50 for each subsequent night.

One pitch ticket is required for each tent, toilet or caravan (excludes toilet tents). We have no minimum stay period.

Hook ups are available at £6 per night.

Payments must be made in full at time of booking and are non-refundable. Payments can be made by credit or debit card.

To make a booking please use the online booking form. (Completion of the Booking Form does mean that agree to the Campsite Etiquette detailed below). We will then call you within 24 hours to take your payment. Please give a telephone number that we can contact you on at anytime. Once we have received your payment we will send you a Confirmation of Booking with a booking reference. This will be required to gain entry on to the site.
